The third graders look at Red Grooms's Dali Salad as inspirations for these self portraits. The had to pick a food to surround themselves with..and have their head floating in the middle of it all. They had two days for this project. Day one consisted of learning about Dali Salad & drawing their self portrait. Day two was using tempera paint to bring their pictures to life.
